Purpose: This report presents a unique case featuring real, ghost, and pseudo-ghost images on the panoramic radiograph of a patient wearing earrings. It also explains the formation of these images in an easy-to-understand manner. Material and Methods: One real image and two ghost images appeared on each side of a panoramic radiograph of a patient wearing earrings on both sides. Of the two ghost images on each side, one was considered a typical ghost image and the other was considered a ghost-like real image (pseudo-ghost image). The formation zones of the real, double, and ghost images were examined based on the path and angles of the X-ray beam from the Planmeca ProMax. To simulate the pseudo-ghost and typical ghost images on panoramic radiography, a radiopaque marker was affixed to the right mandibular condyle of a dry mandible, and the position of the mandible was adjusted accordingly. Results: The center of rotation of the Planmeca ProMax extended beyond the jaw area, and the area of double image formation also reached beyond the jaw. The radiopaque-marked mandibular condyle, situated in the outwardly extending area of double image formation, exhibited triple images consisting of real, double (pseudo-ghost), and ghost images. These findings helped to explain the image formation associated with the patient's earrings observed in the panoramic radiograph. Conclusion: Dentists must understand the characteristics and principles of the panoramic equipment they use and apply this understanding to taking and interpreting panoramic radiographs.

Purpose: The primary objective of the present study was to evaluate if robotic-assisted total knee arthroplasty (RO-TKA) results in improved accuracy compared to conventional TKA (CO-TKA) with respect to alignment and component positioning executing a preoperative digital plan. The secondary objective was to compare patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) between the two groups at 6 months of follow-up (FU). Methods: Patients who underwent primary TKA using the concept of constitutional alignment were identified from the database. Each patient underwent preoperative digital planning as well as postoperative evaluation of the preoperative plan (alignment and component position) using mediCAD® software (Hectec GmbH). Two groups were formed: (i) The RO-TKA group (n = 30) consisted of patients who underwent TKA with a robotic surgical system (ROSA®, Zimmer Biomet) and (ii) the CO-TKA group (n = 67) consisted of patients who underwent TKA with conventional instrumentation. To assess accuracy, all qualitative variables were analysed using the χ 2 test. Tegner activity scale, Oxford Knee Score and visual analogue scale were assessed preop and at 6-month FU. To assess differences between the two groups, a 2 × 2 repeated measures analysis of variance was performed. Results: There was no significant (p > 0.05) difference in the accuracy of alignment as well as tibial and femoral component position between the two groups. At the 6-month FU, there was no significant (p > 0.05) difference in PROMs between the two groups. Conclusion: While robotic TKA may have some potential advantages, no significant difference was found between robotic and conventional TKA with respect to limb alignment, clinical outcomes and component positioning. Background and Aims: Peri-capsular nerve group (PENG) block is a novel ultrasound (US)-guided technique to achieve regional analgesia in hip fractures. We compared the effectiveness of two doses of 0.25% bupivacaine (20 mL and 15 mL) in the US-guided PENG block for positioning patients for sub-arachnoid block (SAB) during hip fracture surgery. Methods: The randomised trial included 60 patients aged 40-90 years undergoing hip fracture surgery under SAB. PENG block was given by a US-guided approach with the patient in a supine position 20 minutes before SAB, and a total of 20 mL and 15 mL of bupivacaine (0.25%) were given in groups A and B, respectively. The primary outcome was to measure and compare the ease of positioning (EOP) of patients for the conduct of SAB. The secondary outcome was the pain assessment at rest and 15° leg raise position at baseline and 10 and 20 minutes post block using the verbal analogue scale (VAS). Continuous variables were compared using the t-test, and categorical variables were analysed using Pearson's Chi-square test or Fisher's exact test. Results: The mean (standard deviation) grade of EOP for SAB was significantly better in group A (2.47 (0.73) (95% confidence interval [CI]: 2.19-2.69)) than in group B (1.86 (0.62) (95% CI: 1.65-2.1)) (P = 0.001). The decrease in VAS scores was significantly higher in group A compared to group B at resting and 15° leg raise position at all-time points (P < 0.05). Conclusion: A dose of 20 mL of 0.25% bupivacaine shows better outcomes than 15 mL regarding the patient's positioning during the SAB.

Cells are equipped with asymmetrically localised and functionally specialised components, including cytoskeletal structures and organelles. Positioning these components to specific intracellular locations in an asymmetric manner is critical for their functionality and affects processes like immune responses, tissue maintenance, muscle functionality, and neurobiology. Here, we provide an overview of strategies to actively move, position, and anchor organelles to specific locations. By conceptualizing the cytoskeletal forces and the organelle-to-cytoskeleton connectivity, we present a framework of active positioning of both membrane-enclosed and membrane-less organelles. Using this framework, we discuss how different principles of force generation and organelle anchorage are utilised by different cells, such as mesenchymal and amoeboid cells, and how the microenvironment influences the plasticity of organelle positioning. Given that motile cells face the challenge of coordinating the positioning of their content with cellular motion, we particularly focus on principles of organelle positioning during migration. In this context, we discuss novel findings on organelle positioning by anchorage-independent mechanisms and their advantages and disadvantages in motile as well as stationary cells.

Background: Anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) is a commonly implemented surgical intervention for a variety of pathologies affecting the cervical spine. The current literature and daily practice reveal variations on patient head positioning for this procedure with both rigid fixations in the Mayfield skull clamp as well as use of a padded headrest being used. In this study, we therefore examine whether patients undergoing surgery using head positioning in the Mayfield skull clamp versus a padded headrest differ in regard to adverse events, surgical parameters and clinical outcome. Methods: A single-center, retrospective analysis of 121 patients treated with ACDF for degenerative disease, traumatic cervical spine injury and infectious disease between November 2019 and March 2023 was performed. Clinical and imaging data for 59 patients positioned in the Mayfield skull clamp and 62 patients positioned in a padded headrest were evaluated using electronic medical records. In addition to demographic data, surgical indications, procedures performed were analyzed for both groups. Level of training (chief, attending and resident), length of surgery and intraoperative radiation exposure (measured by dose area product and total radiation time) were also examined. Finally, modified Rankin Scale (mRS) preoperatively and at last follow-up as well as adverse events were compared between groups. Results: We found no statistically significant differences between the Mayfield and headrest groups regarding surgical indications (P=0.583), procedures performed (P=0.069), level of training of the surgeon (P=0.218), length of surgery (P=0.752), adverse events (P=0.619) or neurological impairment (P=0.080) following surgical intervention. There was a significant difference regarding dose area product between both groups with patients positioned in the Mayfield skull clamp showing lower mean levels of radiation than those in the headrest group (99 versus 131 cGy/cm2; P=0.003). Conclusions: Patient positioning using the Mayfield skull clamp may reduce required radiation exposure during ACDF procedures versus use of a padded headrest.

BACKGROUND: Nucleosome repositioning in cancer is believed to cause many changes in genome organisation and gene expression. Understanding these changes is important to elucidate fundamental aspects of cancer. It is also important for medical diagnostics based on cell-free DNA (cfDNA), which originates from genomic DNA regions protected from digestion by nucleosomes. RESULTS: We have generated high-resolution nucleosome maps in paired tumour and normal tissues from the same breast cancer patients using MNase-assisted histone H3 ChIP-seq and compared them with the corresponding cfDNA from blood plasma. This analysis has detected single-nucleosome repositioning at key regulatory regions in a patient-specific manner and common cancer-specific patterns across patients. The nucleosomes gained in tumour versus normal tissue were particularly informative of cancer pathways, with ~ 20-fold enrichment at CpG islands, a large fraction of which marked promoters of genes encoding DNA-binding proteins. The tumour tissues were characterised by a 5-10 bp decrease in the average distance between nucleosomes (nucleosome repeat length, NRL), which is qualitatively similar to the differences between pluripotent and differentiated cells. This effect was correlated with gene activity, differential DNA methylation and changes in local occupancy of linker histone variants H1.4 and H1X. CONCLUSIONS: Our study offers a novel resource of high-resolution nucleosome maps in breast cancer patients and reports for the first time the effect of systematic decrease of NRL in paired tumour versus normal breast tissues from the same patient. Our findings provide a new mechanistic understanding of nucleosome repositioning in tumour tissues that can be valuable for patient diagnostics, stratification and monitoring.

BACKGROUND: Prone positioning (PP) has been proven to be a beneficial approach in enhancing survival outcomes for patients with severe acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) who need venovenous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (V-V ECMO) support. The study utilized bedside lung ultrasound (LUS) to evaluate changes in lung aeration caused by PP in ARDS patients receiving V-V ECMO. METHODS: This retrospective single-center study involved adult ARDS patients requiring V-V ECMO. The assessment of LUS involved examining specific dorsal lung regions, encompassing 16 areas, during three pre-defined time points: baseline (10 minutes prior), three-hour PP positioning, and 10-minute post-supine repositioning, all within the initial three days. Based on the oxygenation response to PP, patients were categorized into responder and non-responder groups. The primary outcome was LUS score changes during the initial three-day period. Secondary outcomes examined the impact of PP on the partial pressure of oxygen (PaO2)/fraction of inspired oxygen (FiO2) (P/F) ratio, V-V ECMO weaning success, length of ICU stay, and hospital survival. RESULTS: Among the enrolled patients (27 in total), 16 were responders and 11 were non-responders. In the responder group, the global LUS score underwent a significant reduction from 26.38 ± 4.965 at baseline to 20.75 ± 3.337 (p < 0.001) after the first PP session, which further decreased to 15.94 ± 2.816 (p< 0.001) after three days. However, no significant differences were observed among PP non-responders. The oxygenation reaction yielded comparable results. There was a significant correlation between the duration of daily PP and the reduction in global LUS score among PP responders (r = -0.855, p < 0.001). In cases where the global LUS score decreased by > 7.5 after three days of PP, the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUROC) for predicting ECMO weaning success was 0.815, while it was 0.761 for predicting hospital survival. CONCLUSION: LUS has the potential to predict the response to PP and evaluate the prognosis of ARDS patients with V-V ECMO, although more studies are demanded in the future.

Background: Effective breastfeeding techniques, which include proper attachment, positioning, and suckling, offer a range of benefits for both the mother and the infant. These techniques ensure efficient milk transfer, reduce the risk of infections, support optimal infant weight gain, enhance maternal comfort, and foster a strong emotional bond. This study aimed to identify the magnitude and factors associated with effective breastfeeding techniques among lactating women in the Legambo district of South Wollo, Ethiopia, in 2022. Methods: A community-based cross-sectional study was conducted from September to November 2022. Samples were selected using a multi-stage sampling method from 18 wards (kebele). Data were collected using an interviewer-administered structured questionnaire and an observational checklist. The collected data were entered into Epi-Data and then exported to SPSS version 25.0 for analysis. Descriptive statistics and bivariate and multivariable logistic regression analyses were performed to identify the magnitude and associated factors. Variables with a p-value less than 0.05 on multivariable analysis were considered independent factors associated with the outcome variable. Results: Six hundred and ten lactating women were included for observation and interviewed, resulting in a 96.2% response rate. The magnitude of effective breastfeeding technique practice was found to be 25.9% (95% CI: 22.47-29.57%). Factors associated with effective breastfeeding technique practice included being a working woman (AOR = 1.70; 95%CI: 1.07-2.72), age between 26 and 30 years (AOR = 0.37; 95%CI: 0.16-0.84), urban residence (AOR = 1.59; 95%CI: 1.06-2.39), initiating breastfeeding 1 to 2 h after birth (AOR = 0.27; 95%CI: 0.16-0.43), and initiating breastfeeding after 2 h of birth (AOR = 0.34; 95%CI: 0.17-0.67). Additionally, not receiving breastfeeding education (AOR = 0.46; 95%CI: 0.30-0.72) and experiencing current breast problems (AOR = 0.28; 95%CI: 0.28-0.75) were also found to have a significant association with effective breastfeeding technique practice. Conclusion: Only one in four women demonstrated effective breastfeeding techniques, indicating that their practice was below the WHO's recommendations. Therefore, it is crucial to consider the identified variables to improve the practice of effective breastfeeding techniques.

Background: Airway care interventions and prone positioning are used in critically ill patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) to improve oxygenation and facilitate mucus removal. At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the decision-making process regarding the practice of airway care interventions and prone positioning was challenging. Objective: To provide an overview of the practice of airway care interventions and prone positioning during the second wave of the pandemic in the Netherlands. Method: Web-based survey design. Seventy ICU nurses, each representing one intensive care in the Netherlands, were contacted for participation. Potential items were generated based on a literature search and formulated by a multidisciplinary team. Questions were pilot tested for face and construct validity by four intensive care nurses from four different hospitals. Results: The response rate was 53/77 (69%). This survey revealed widespread use of airway care interventions in the Netherlands in COVID-19 patients, despite questionable benefits. Additionally, prone positioning was used in invasively and non-invasively ventilated patients. Conclusions: The use of airway care interventions and prone positioning is time consuming and comes with the production of waste. Further research is needed to assess the effectiveness, workload, and environmental impact of airway care interventions and prone positioning.

Positioning in indoor scenarios using signals of opportunity is an effective solution enabling accurate and reliable performance in Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)-obscured scenarios. Despite the availability of numerous fingerprinting datasets utilizing various wireless signals, the challenge of device heterogeneity and sample density remains an unanswered issue. To address this gap, this work introduces TUJI1, an anonymized IEEE 802.11 Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) fingerprinting dataset collected using 5 different commercial devices in a fine-grained grid. The dataset contains the matched fingerprints of Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) measurements with the corresponding coordinates, split into training and testing subsets for effortless and fair reproducibility.

OBJECTIVE: Cemented total hip arthroplasty (THA) demonstrates superior survival rates compared to uncemented procedures. Nevertheless, most younger patients opt for uncemented THA, as removing well-fixed bone cement in the femur during revisions is complex, particularly the distal cement plug. This removal procedure often increases the risk of femoral fracture or perforation, haemorrhage and weakening bone due to poor drill control and positioning. Aim of this study was to design a novel drill guide to improve drill positioning. METHODS AND PROCEDURES: A novel orthopaedic drill guide was developed, featuring a compliant centralizer activated by a drill guide actuator. Bone models were prepared to assess centralizing performance. Three conditions were tested: drilling without guidance, guided drilling with centralizer activation held, and guided drilling with centralizer activation released. Deviations from the bone centre were measured at the entry and exit point of the drill. RESULTS: In the centralizing performance test, the drill guide significantly reduced drill hole deviations in both entry and exit points compared to the control ([Formula: see text]). The absolute deviation on the exit side of the cement plug was 10.59mm (SD 1.56) for the 'No drill guide' condition, 3.02mm (SD 2.09) for 'Drill guide - hold' and 2.12mm (SD 1.71) for 'Drill guide - release'. The compliant drill guide centralizer significantly lowered the risk of cortical bone perforation during intramedullary canal drilling in the bone models due to better control of the cement drill position. Clinical and Translational Impact Statement: The drill guide potentially reduces perioperative risks in cemented femoral stem revision. Future research should identify optimal scenarios for its application.

The purpose of this study was to measure and compare renal pelvic pressure (RPP) between prone and supine percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) in a benchtop model. Six identical silicone kidney models were placed into anatomically correct prone or supine torsos constructed from patient CT scans in the corresponding positions. A 30-Fr renal access sheath was placed in either the upper, middle, or lower pole calyx for both prone and supine positions. Two 9-mm BegoStones were placed in the respective calyx and RPPs were measured at baseline, irrigating with a rigid nephroscope, and irrigating with a flexible nephroscope. Five trials were conducted for each access in both prone and supine positions. The average baseline RPP in the prone position was significantly higher than the supine position (9.1 vs 2.7 mmHg; p < 0.001). Similarly, the average RPP in prone was significantly higher than supine when using both the rigid and flexible nephroscopes. When comparing RPPs for upper, middle, and lower pole access sites, there was no significant difference in pressures in either prone or supine positions (p > 0.05 for all). Overall, when combining all pressures at baseline and with irrigation, with all access sites and types of scopes, the mean RPP was significantly higher in the prone position compared to the supine position (14.0 vs 3.2 mmHg; p < 0.001). RPPs were significantly higher in the prone position compared to the supine position in all conditions tested. These differences in RPPs between prone and supine PCNL could in part explain the different clinical outcomes, including postoperative fever and stone-free rates.

Variations in Global Positioning Systems (GPSs) have been used for tracking users' locations. However, when location tracking is needed for an indoor space, such as a house or building, then an alternative means of precise position tracking may be required because GPS signals can be severely attenuated or completely blocked. In our approach to indoor positioning, we developed an indoor localization system that minimizes the amount of effort and cost needed by the end user to put the system to use. This indoor localization system detects the user's room-level location within a house or indoor space in which the system has been installed. We combine the use of Bluetooth Low Energy beacons and a smartwatch Bluetooth scanner to determine which room the user is located in. Our system has been developed specifically to create a low-complexity localization system using the Nearest Neighbor algorithm and a moving average filter to improve results. We evaluated our system across a household under two different operating conditions: first, using three rooms in the house, and then using five rooms. The system was able to achieve an overall accuracy of 85.9% when testing in three rooms and 92.106% across five rooms. Accuracy also varied by region, with most of the regions performing above 96% accuracy, and most false-positive incidents occurring within transitory areas between regions. By reducing the amount of processing used by our approach, the end-user is able to use other applications and services on the smartwatch concurrently.

The precise placement of antennas is essential to ensure effective coverage, service quality, and network capacity in wireless communications, particularly given the exponential growth of mobile connectivity. The antenna positioning problem (APP) has evolved from theoretical approaches to practical solutions employing advanced algorithms, such as evolutionary algorithms. This study focuses on developing innovative web tools harnessing genetic algorithms to optimize antenna positioning, starting from propagation loss calculations. To achieve this, seven empirical models were reviewed and integrated into an antenna positioning web tool. Results demonstrate that, with minimal configuration and careful model selection, a detailed analysis of antenna positioning in any area is feasible. The tool was developed using Java 17 and TypeScript 5.1.6, utilizing the JMetal framework to apply genetic algorithms, and features a React-based web interface facilitating application integration. For future research, consideration is given to implementing a server capable of analyzing the environment based on specific area selection, thereby enhancing the precision and objectivity of antenna positioning analysis.

In recent years, smartphones have emerged as the primary terminal for navigation and location services among mass users, owing to their universality, portability, and affordability. However, the highly integrated antenna design within smartphones inevitably introduces interference from internal signal sources, leading to a misalignment between the antenna phase center (APC) and the antenna geometric center. Accurately determining a smartphone's APC can mitigate system errors and enhance positioning accuracy, thereby meeting the increasing demand for precise and reliable user positioning. This paper delves into a detailed analysis of the generation of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver antenna phase center errors and proposes a method for correcting the receiver antenna phase center. Subsequently, a smartphone positioning experiment was conducted by placing the smartphone on an observation column with known coordinates. The collected observations were processed in static relative positioning mode, referencing observations from geodetic-grade equipment, and the accuracy of the static relative positioning fixed solution was evaluated. Following weighted estimation, we determined the antenna phase center of the Xiaomi Mi8 and corrected the APC. A comparison of the positioning results of the Xiaomi Mi8 before and after APC correction revealed minimal impact on the standard deviations (STDs) but significant influence on the root mean square errors (RMSEs). Specifically, the RMSEs in the E/N/U direction were reduced by 59.6%, 58.5%, and 42.0%, respectively, after APC correction compared to before correction. Furthermore, the integer ambiguity fixing rate slightly improved after the APC correction. In conclusion, the determination of a smartphone's APC can effectively reduce system errors in the plane direction of GNSS positioning, thereby enhancing smartphone positioning accuracy. This research holds significant value for advancing high-precision positioning studies related to smartphones.

In this paper, we explore the use of visible light positioning (VLP) technology in vehicles in intelligent transportation systems (ITS), highlighting its potential for maintaining effective line of sight (LOS) and providing high-accuracy positioning between vehicles. The proposed system (V2V-VLP) is based on a position-sensitive detector (PSD) and exploiting car taillights to determine the position and inter-vehicular distance by angle of arrival (AoA) measurements. The integration of the PSD sensor in vehicles promises exceptional positioning accuracy, opening new prospects for navigation and driving safety. The results revealed that the proposed system enables precise measurement of position and distance between vehicles, including lateral distance. We evaluated the impact of different focal lengths on the system performance, achieving cm-level accuracy for distances up to 35 m, with an optimum focal length of 25 mm, and under low signal-to-noise conditions, which meets the standards required for safe and reliable V2V applications. Several experimental tests were carried out to validate the results of the simulations.

This paper proposes a novel method to improve the clock bias short-term prediction accuracy of navigation receivers then solve the problem of low positioning accuracy when the satellite signal quality deteriorates. Considering that the clock bias of a navigation receiver is equivalent to a virtual satellite, the predicted value of clock bias is used to assist navigation receivers in positioning. Consequently, a combined prediction method for navigation receiver clock bias based on Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) and Back Propagation Neural Network (BPNN) analysis theory is demonstrated. In view of systematic errors and random errors in the clock bias data from navigation receivers, the EMD method is used to decompose the clock bias data; then, the BPNN prediction method is used to establish a high-precision clock bias prediction model; finally, based on the clock bias prediction value, the three-dimensional positioning of the navigation receiver is realized by expanding the observation equation. The experimental results show that the proposed model is suitable for clock bias time series prediction and providing three-dimensional positioning information meets the requirements of navigation application in the harsh environment of only three satellites.

Real-time acquisition of location information for agricultural robotic systems is a prerequisite for achieving high-precision intelligent navigation. This paper proposes a data filtering and combined positioning method, and establishes an active screening model. The dynamic and static positioning drift points of the carrier are eliminated or replaced, reducing the complexity of the original Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) output data in the positioning system. Compared with the traditional Kalman filter combined positioning method, the proposed active filtering-Kalman filter algorithm can reduce the maximum distance deviation of the carrier along a straight line from 0.145 m to 0.055 m and along a curve from 0.184 m to 0.0640 m. This study focuses on agricultural robot positioning technology, which has an important influence on the development of smart agriculture.

BACKGROUND: We present a case with abnormal findings of initial motor-evoked potential (MEP) in the left upper limb after prone positioning during lumbar spine surgery. CASE PRESENTATION: A 71-year-old man with bilateral lower extremity numbness without a history of preexisting motor weakness underwent L3-5 spinal fenestration. Initial MEP monitoring after prone positioning revealed markedly prolonged latency and lower amplitude in the left abductor pollicis brevis (APB). Because the left upper limb somatosensory-evoked potentials had normal values, a position-related impending peripheral nerve injury located between the neck and the forearm was excluded. Postoperative examination revealed that MEP abnormality in the left APB was caused by carpal tunnel syndrome. CONCLUSIONS: Abnormal initial MEP from the upper limb was unexpectedly detected after prone positioning during lumbar spine surgery. The condition was caused by preexisting carpal tunnel syndrome.

Objective: To review the concept and methods of femoral bone tunnel positioning in anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, in order to provide a reference for clinical treatment. Methods: The relevant literature on the concept and methods of femoral bone tunnel positioning in ACL reconstruction in domestic and international research was extensively reviewed. Results: The position of the femoral bone tunnel is a key factor in determining the prognosis of ACL reconstruction. The concept of femoral bone tunnel positioning in ACL reconstruction has experienced isometric reconstruction, anatomical reconstruction, Ribbon-like theory, I.D.E.A.L. theory, and nearly isometric reconstruction theory. The femoral bone tunnel positioning technique is also changing with the in-depth study of the anatomy and biomechanics of the ACL, and each bone tunnel positioning technique has its own advantages and disadvantages. Over-The-Top technique is now mainly used for ACL revision; the clock-face positioning method is basically no longer applicable due to the large error, poor stability, and low retrievability; the bone landmarks positioning method (the lateral condyle of the femur's Resident's ridge and bifurcation ridge, and the the apex of the deep cartilage), which is now mostly used clinically due to the more constant anatomical landmarks. The quadrant method under X-ray fluoroscopy is more cumbersome to implement intraoperatively, so it is mainly used for academic research; computer navigation-assisted positioning has gradually become popular in recent years, which is highly accurate, avoids the influence of human factors on the positioning of the bone tunnel, and has a very good prospect of application; three-dimensional printing-assisted positioning technology, which is accurate in positioning, with a high degree of reproducibility and a short learning curve. Conclusion: The concept of femoral bone tunnel positioning for ACL reconstruction has undergone several evolutions, reflecting the deepening of the understanding of ACL and the improvement of the clinical results of reconstruction. The precision, personalization, and intelligence of positioning techniques are the focus of current and future development.
